Feedly Response #2

For this response I responded to “Dana Sterling” by Sarah Borst. What drew me to this blog post in my Feedly was the immediate colors of blue skies, the pastels, and the defined lines and structure of the photograph. Mostly the colors because of how whimsical they are. This Photographer is right up my ally because I really like to capture fun and bright photos – relating back to my final sail boat project from two semesters ago. I like her subject of choice- an abandon water park because its so relatable and somewhat spooky and it makes you as the view feel so old because its almost like showing a childhood that is over and has tumble weed rolling around in the memories. I also find it ironic what in a place that is usually filled with water, and by the dead sea which is salty and dry that this water park is empty and hot.
